Praised by Osterreich for a “round middle voice with a luscious, silvery upper register”, Inna Los returns to the role of    Cio Cio San    in Madama Butterfly with Opera Las Vegas, Berkshire Opera Festival as well as to the roster of the  Metropolitan Opera for its production of Turandot in 2015-2016 season.

Last season, she sang the role of Cio Cio San in Madama Butterfly with Michigan Opera Theatre, her first performances of the title role of Suor Angelica and Nedda in Pagliacci in a return to Opera Birmingham, Cio Cio San in Madama Butterfly with Opera Grand Rapids and joined the rosters of the Metropolitan Opera for its production of Pagliacci and Lyric Opera of Chicago for its production of Madama Butterfly.

The recent performances include Liù in Turandot at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as well as at the Savonlinna Festival and Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck; the title role of Rusalka with Opéra National de Lorraine et Nancy; the title role of Iolanta with both Trondheim Opera in Norway and the Odense Sympfoniorkester; and Cio Cio San in Madama Butterfly in a return to the Savonlinna Festival as well as in her American debut with Opera New Jersey and in subsequent performances with Opera Birmingham and PORT Opera. She sang her first performances of Lisa in Pique Dame with Theater St. Gallen, Mimì in La Bohème and Micaëla in Carmen at the Aalto Theater Essen, Alice Ford in Falstaff with the São Paolo State Symphony Orchestra, and Violetta in La Traviata with the Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra in Istanbul. She has joined the Metropolitan Opera for its productions of La Bohème, Otello, and Faust.

A former member of the ensemble at the Wiener Staatsoper, her performances included Desdemona in Otello, Micaëla in Carmen, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, and Bastienne in Bastien et Bastienne following her debut as the Voce dal Ciel in Don Carlo conducted by Bertrand de Billy (a recording of which is available on the Orfeo d’Or label). Additionally, she earned the company’s prestigious Eberhard-Wächter-Medal for exceptional achievement in the interpretation of an operatic role for her performances of Alice Ford in Falstaff. Her discography also includes several recordings with the Wiener Staatsoper including her performances as a Flowermaiden in Parsifal under the baton of Christian Thielemann (Deutsche Grammophon) and Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore (released as both a CD and DVD on EMI/Virgin Classics).

On the concert stage, she has sung Hasse’s La conversione di Sant’ Agostino with L’associazione il canto d’Orfeo, which is scheduled to be released commercially in the coming year. She has also recently sung Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass and the Requiem Masses of Mozart and Fauré. Additionally, she has appeared in recital at the Wiener Musikverein and in a Schubert Liederabend at the Attersee Klassik Festival.
